Hard Rock International has brought back its annual Pinktober breast cancer awareness and research event for the 24th year.

A range of fundraising events will be held across Hard Rock venues and platforms, including its hotels, cafes, casinos, shops, bet and games.

The funds will be distributed through the charity division of the company, Hard Rock Heals Foundation, to the American Cancer Society and local organisations.

Last year, the Pinktober campaign raised over $1m for breast cancer awareness and research, the highest total since the launch of the initiative.

Jim Allen, Hard Rock International Chairman, said: "Hard Rock is proud to unite globally for the 24th Pinktober campaign and create philanthropic activations that support organisations that benefit survivors, thrivers and those impacted by breast cancer.”

As part of the campaign, Hard Rock will offer pink-themed drinks,Table games treats and exclusive spa treatments at its venues for the month of October.

Guests will also have the opportunity to donate to the campaign through custom-made Gibson guitar exhibits.

There will also be a limited-edition merchandise launch for Pinktober, including hats, t-shirts, water bottles, tote bags and a pin designed by tribe member and Native American artist Victoria Billie Osceola.

One person will win a package from the campaign for each week in October, which will include $5,000 donated in their name to the American Cancer Society, a four-night all-inclusive holiday for two in either Punta Canta, Vallarta, Cancun, Riviera Maya or Los Cabos and a personal coaching session with Samantha Harris, a breast cancer thriver and wellness guru.

In other company news, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino started construction of its first Canadian property earlier this summer.
